Since 1996, Pubol's medieval castle, the residence of Salvador Dali's wife in the 1970s and his own in the early-1980s, has housed the Gala Dali House-Museum. Inside are paintings and drawings Dali gave to Gala for exhibition in the castle, as well as the elephant sculptures which decorate the garden, a collection of Gala's haute couture dresses and the furniture and countless objects which adorned the castle.
