Coast of Montgri, L'Estartit

This is one of the most abrupt and unspoiled stretches of coastline on the Costa Brava. From Montgó to L’Estartit there are the cliffs of the Montgrí mountains with their bays (Ferriol, El Falaguer, La Pedrosa, La Calella), caves and headlands (Milà head, Castell head and La Barra head). And the cliffs tower as high as 100 m. The spurs of the massif extend as far as L'Estartit where Roca Maura and the Torre Moratxa are prominent, both being 200 metres hight.

The Montgrí coast is full of interesting nooks and crannies, such as the Foradada rock. It’s also an interesting place for scuba diving and seawatching.
